Tom Allen has been involved in the Advertising Specialty business for over 21 years. Prior to that Tom worked as an account manager with Revlon Cosmetics in Germany and was transferred to the Washington DC area in 1980, and then in 1983 worked as a multi-line sales rep for a number of “top shelf” giftware companies here in the Washington area.

In 1987 Tom started working in the Ad Specialty business out of his house, with ties to a distributor from Dayton Ohio.

In 1992, Tom made a business move to work with one of his former customers (who happened to be a printer) in his home town, Gaithersburg MD, and continued working with them till July 2008.

July 1, 2008, Tom started working as an account executive with Mac Mannes Inc.

Tom has worked with major corporations and associations in the Washington area, to include managing their on-line company stores and well as convention items and their wearables programs.

Tom brings to Mac Mannes his knowledge of the industry as well as his relationships he has developed with suppliers within the promotional products industry.

Tom will also make it happen, one way or another. He is a “Can Do” Account Executive.

Tom and his wife, Joanne, spend their weekends on the Chesapeake Bay.
